In accordance with the provisions of the Financial Accountability Act 2019, the Financial and Performance Management Standard 2019, and the Public Sector Ethics Act 1994, the University is guided in arranging for the supply of goods and services, including the engagement of consultants, by the provisions of the Queensland Procurement Policy and Quality Assurance policies.
Operational details relating to the process for tenders and quotations relating to facilities management projects at different levels are provided on the Facilities Management website.
The Consultants and Contractors Selection Committee is a standing committee within Facilities Management. The committee provides independent scrutiny of submitted tenders and quotations and assists the Executive Director, Facilities Management in ensuring procurement activities are undertaken using a risk management approach in accordance with University requirements.
