Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement

The University provides an Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement to graduating students on conferral of a particular higher education award. The statement provides a description of the nature, level, context and status of studies that were pursued by the student. Its purpose is to assist in both national and international recognition of Australian qualifications and to promote international mobility and professional recognition of graduates. QUT students who graduate from QUT accredited award courses from December 2012 onwards are provided with one complimentary copy of their Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement (AHEGS) for each award they complete. Details of the QUT AHEGS and a description of the security features and methods of verification are provided on the Student Gateway.
